La Dolce Vitasenza fretta.

Lunch is in the garden, in the light of day, with the same kitchen as the evening.

The kitchen doesn't close: from ten in the morning to half past ten at night. Come at one and you find a quiet room. Come at half past three, when the kitchens in Alberobello have already shut, and there is still someone at the stove. It isn't a detail: it's the reason people find us.
10:00 — 22:30

That's the rule we write the menu by. The Zuppa di Cipolle di Acquaviva is a recipe that comes from elsewhere, made with an onion that is from here; other times it's the other way round. And then there are the Italian classics, done our way. At lunch it's the same kitchen as the evening: there is no reduced version.

At lunch you eat in the garden or in the dining room, whichever you prefer. The garden has natural light and the right kind of noise: the noise of a long lunch, not the noise of the square. At five the garden closes and everyone moves inside. We're on Corso Trieste e Trento, steps from the centre but out of the current.

≈ €50 per person
A full lunch comes to around fifty euros per person. One dish and a glass of wine, much less. We don't do tourist menus and we don't do discounts: it's the same kitchen at lunch and at dinner, and you know the bill before you sit down.
Summer, holidays, Christmas, Carnival
In summer every day, except Thursdays. Then on public holidays, at Christmas, and during the Putignano Carnival. The real calendar, day by day, is in the booking form: if a date is available there, lunch is served that day.
Never charged
To book we ask for a card. It is never charged: it only holds the table. Cancel free of charge up to four hours before, no questions asked. If you'd rather not leave one, come anyway: if there's a table, we'll seat you.
